Walid Benmbarek
Walid has been acting for quite some time. In the beginning of his career he mainly got casted in supporting roles, until 2006 when he became one of the lead characters in a well known, Dutch dramaserie. After portraying this character for 2 years, Walid decided to move on to the big screen, where he portrayed leading roles in the short film 'Mo' (2010) and the feature films 'De Infiltrant' (2014) and 'Broeders' (2017). In 2018 Walid was nominated as Best Actor for his role in 'Broeders' and got great reviews for portraying one of the leads Adil in the Dutch crime series 'Mocro Maffia', which is renewed for a second season. In 2019 Walid can be seen in the very successful Dutch television series 'De Luizenmoeder' and the highly anticipated 'Keizersvrouwen.'
