War Shazar
War Shazar is an American actor and dancer. Shazar was born Christoper Edward Martinez Toledo in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He gained the nickname War in the competitive b-boy culture, which he was introduced to while growing up in foster homes throughout Miami, Florida. In his teens, War moved to New York City and made a living street dancing before landing his first job on George C. Wolfe's Off-Broadway musical, "Radiant Baby". He then relocated to Los Angeles where he went on to dance in music videos and world tours with music artists Prince, Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Rihanna, Kylie Minogue, Miley Cyrus, Fergie, Chayanne, Jennifer Lopez, Will Smith and more. All the while, Shazar continued to pursue acting and studied his craft with three-time Emmy award-winning actress Barbara Bain. War Shazar made his film debut as a lead in Bille Woodruff's "Honey 2". In 2015, War legally changed his name to Christopher Edward Shazar as a tribute to his adoptive mother, abstract painter and artist, the late Edna Shazar Michaeli.
