Wendy Faraone
Wendy Faraone is a dynamic and influential director in television and film. Wendy started out in the industry as an on set acting coach and worked on nearly 300 television episodes. Toward the end of her coaching years, she was honored to be asked to direct "Liv and Maddie" on Disney Channel. After a successful first episode, the network had Wendy pilot a program for women directors, and in the last 4 years she has directed over 70 episodes of television. Most recently, she directed her first pilot for Nickelodeon titled "That Girl Lay Lay" and is directing her second pilot titled, "PRETTY Freekin SCARY".
Wendy's true passion is in film and single camera work. Recently, Wendy has directed a holiday feature film shot in The Highlands of Scotland titled, "Saving Christmas Spirit", she has wrapped a single camera comedy pitch presentation that she both directed and created with two wonderful writers titled "Lake Tuna", and she is contracted to direct a massive feature film based on female pilots during WWII. Wendy is thrilled to be playing a major role in changing the percentage of women directors in Hollywood, and she succeeds with every opportunity given to her.
