Whitney Wagner
Whitney Wagner is a Michigan actress with an extensive history of performing and fine arts. She was attending ballet lessons, exploring the flute and saxophone, sculpting, writing poetry her aunt would transform into simple piano songs, and writing short plays at age 5. Her early years formed passion regarding words, an understanding that language is a vessel you can fill with any purpose you'd like. She began acting regularly at age 10. While testing the waters of pageantry, she found acting to be the most fulfilling portion of every contest. She continued acting by joining an acting group associated with Youth Empowerment Through Arts & Humanities (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), where she took part in writing and performing stage plays, picking apart and performing monologues, and letting loose with regular improv shows. At age 16, Whitney began studying the Meisner technique through Motion Picture Institute (Troy, Michigan). She wrote and directed two short films shortly after she discovered her local film community. Once she had a taste of film, all passion for the art grew wildly. She persistently sought out roles throughout the years alongside various other titles: Songwriter, flameworker, painter, jeweler, editor of a literary magazine, etc. Whitney revisited Motion Picture Institute at age 19 to attend their film acting program. While at MPI, she studied Eric Morris, the business of acting, script analysis, movement techniques, etc. She continued to represent MPI after attending: Performing in their promo, a picture of Whitney on their fliers, and participating in a podcast promoting MPI. Whitney craves connection, creation, and knowledge in all aspects of life. She has traveled to 40+ states in America, primarily traveling beside her wanderlust-filled mother. She longs to experience a piece of every stranger she encounters. "It's funny for the colors of the real world only seem really real when you viddy them on a screen." - A Clockwork Orange Whitney Wagner's most prominent goal is to connect with the world, and has found film acting to be the love of her life for this reason
