Will Agee
Will Agee is an award-winning documentary filmmaker from the San Francisco Bay Area. He is the Founder & Creative Director of Dulcinea Productions.
Will, born 1987 in Boston, Massachusetts, grew up on the West Coast in Saint Helena, California. Before starting his career in film, Will has been a nationally touring musician, a graduate of Stanford University, and an entrepreneur.
In 2016, Will released his first film, a documentary short titled, Crescite. The film details how the community of Napa Valley came together to create a more progressive environment for its farm workers. Crescite went on to receive many positive reviews from film festivals and win several awards.
In the spring of 2017, Will began production on his debut feature documentary, The Land of High Mountains. The film focuses on the only pediatric hospital in Haiti. The Land of High Mountains is due for release in 2018/2019.
Will's style of filmmaking is distinctive and original. He makes use of strongly poetic cinematography, deeply personal interviews, and the adroit use of evocative music. Even working with topics that can be unnerving such as immigration, poverty, and childhood illness he has shown the ability to unite disparate viewpoints and find beauty where others may not.
