Willow Speers
Willow is the youngest of four children and has grown up on a rural property in the Hawkesbury region of NSW with her mum, dad, three adult siblings, and a large menagerie of animals, including two cats, two dogs a horse and 17 chickens.
Willow attends a Steiner School where her creativity, curiosity and enthusiasm for life is encouraged and celebrated (and to her delight, she doesn't have to wear a school uniform). When not at school, Willow is a keen horse rider and gymnast. She also loves to sing and plays the piano and ukulele and can often be found singing around a campfire with her older sister Clover.
In 2020 Willow was cast as Ruby Rafter in Australia's much loved television series 'Back to the Rafters', working alongside series stars Erik Thomson and Rebecca Gibney.
In 2019 Willow had her first film appearance as the lead, 'Josipa' in ABC's production of 'Rocky and Me' and shortly after, wrapped in her lead role of 'Pup' in 'Giants', a short Film by writer and director Eddy Bell.
A storyteller in her own right, Willow has independently developed and filmed a short documentary on organic farming called 'Willow's Organic World' to support her passion for safe food that's good for you and good for the planet too.
Early in 2021, Willow discovered a passion for live performance as she developed her singing and music theatre skills in her role as 'Jafar' in the North Sydney Kids Musical Society's production of 'Disney's Aladdin Junior'.
Willow embraces her rural home life and her creative stage and screen life, with gusto, passion and an energetic drive that inspires everyone who meets this very unique young actor!
