Zarlia Chisholm
Zarlia Chisholm is a young Australian actress.
Beginning acting at the age of nine with her first major performance in the musical production, 'Mary Poppins' as 'Jane Banks', Zarlia, from there, was drawn to and showcased talent for TV and film acting. After Leads in several short films, landed the lead role for 'Maisey' in the feature film, 'Strangeville' and a featured support role of 'Belle Miller' in horror film, 'House of Inequity', both premiering in the same year at the Gold Coast Film Festival, 2021. Receiving two international Awards for Best Performance & Acting, for her lead role in short film 'Sunny', 2022, Zarlia had also been selected to be a presenter with Bound Round, Families of Australia, with unique experiences and presenting travel destinations around Australia for a number of years since 2018, for in-flight entertainment for Virgin Airlines. Zarlia's latest credit, 2022, is lead role, 'Eira McCormick' in the feature film, 'The Outlaw's Daughter' and in the same year, having a talent and love for writing, has since written a feature film and wrote, directed and produced two short films, 'Level up: Frank Jacob', and 'Resisting Saturation'. With both the short films receiving awards, 'Resisting Saturation', where Zarlia also plays lead role 'Haisleigh', was selected for Flickerfest, International short film festival, Bondi Beach, Sydney 2023. Zarlia shows maturity and dedication to every production with many diverse characters and is fully immersed in her work for every role she plays. She continues her journey with ongoing acting classes, workshops, and is motivated for growth and success.
