Abhishek Jain is a film maker and the founder of CineMan Productions Limited. At the age of 26, he got recognized as 'Trendsetter of the year 2012' followed by 'Innovation achievers award for contribution in Films & Advertisement' by the Gujarat Innovation Society- a felicitation initiated by the Government of Gujarat. He has spent nine years of his childhood doing theatres, got a degree in management and joined the very prestigious Whistling Woods Institute to pursue his further studies in filmmaking. Abhishek has the unique distinction of working with some of the top-notch filmmakers of Bollywood. He was assistant director to Subhash Ghai for the films Yuvraaj and Black & White. Later, he was associate director with Sanjay Leela Bhansali Films for the movies Guzaarish and Chenab Gandhi. He has also assisted Ram Madhvani (Director of highly acclaimed film Neerja) for advertising campaigns. At one point he realised his dream to revive the film industry in Gujarat, and left the secured profile in the main stream film industry to devote his talent for the regional cinema. Abhishek's conviction has already created a benchmark in the Gujarati Film Industry with his path breaking debut feature film- 'Kevi Rite Jaish' which settled a milestone as a revival of the Gujarati film industry and ran in cinemas for 112 days, his second feature film- 'Bey Yaar' went up to become the widest released Gujarati film with a theatrical release in more than 14 countries and a domestic run in cinemas for 54 weeks, his latest Feature Film- 'Wrong Side Raju' raised the standards and proved to be the first Gujarati film to have a national collaboration with Phantom Films headed by acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap et al. In the year 2017, CineMan received a National Award for the best feature film in Gujarati language. After successfully paving path into Gujarat's regional film industry, his company CineMan has now got into a 2 film co-production deal with Maddock films for making Hindi feature length films. Abhishek has just completed the shoot of his first Hindi Feature Film tentatively titled as 'Hum Do, Humare Do' starring Rajkumar Rao, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aparshakti Khurana. Keeping the advent of new found audience base for OTT platforms, Abhishek has recently launched his latest venture- OHO Gujarati, which is Gujarat's first premium content streaming platform, catering to the Gujarati audience globally. Abhishek has also penned a biographical book, 'aa to just vaat che' which talks about his journey of making Gujarati feature films. This book has already gained the stature of being a handbook on making of Gujarati films for youngsters. Before his foray into feature films, he started CineMan Productions Limited in 2010 to cater to the advertising industry. Having produced television commercials and advertisement films, he has carved a unique identity of delivering finest productions contributing towards the brand's value. As an entrepreneur, Abhishek has innate understanding of the business of films and as a filmmaker he has distinct creative sensibilities that marry the market and imaginative. Today, CineMan is a fully functioning film production house engaged in activities ranging right from script to screen, Film Production, Film Distribution and Film Marketing along with Advertisement Films, OTT platform and this makes CineMan one of the finest film production houses in the industry.
