Anthony Roux

Born March 9, 1977 in Montreuil, France and known under the pseudonym Tot, he is a French screenwriter, director, producer, and game designer, best known as co-founder and art director of Ankama, an entertainment company which produces various content set in the fictional world of Dofus (2004) and Wakfu (2012). He studied at the Fine-Arts Academy of Tournai in Belgium. He went on to work at an online agency in Roubaix, where he met Camille Chafer and Emmanuel Darras. In 2001 the three co-founded Ankama and in 2004 their first game, a MMORPG Dofus (2004), debuted. This turned-based online game gained considerable popularity, especially in France, and Roux and his friends decided to expand the world created for the game. In 2008 a game called Dofus 2 - later re-titled Wakfu (2012) - was opened for beta testing. At the same time, an animated series also called Wakfu (2008) premiered on the public television channel France 3. Roux was a head writer for both the game and the series and in 2013 he went on to co-create a spin-off intended for younger children, Dofus: Aux trésors de Kerubim (2013). He continues to create animated shows, with seasons 3 and 4 of Wakfu supported by a crowd-founding campaigns, and writes and illustrates Wakfu-related art books and comic books. He is married to a comic book artist known under the pseudonym Azra, with whom he co-creates some comic books.

Anthony Russell

Anthony Russell has parlayed an extensive talent for music into an acting career that includes stage, film and television productions. As a child, Russell played harmonica, ukulele, guitar, trombone and piano. He worked his way through college playing and singing in a show band. After graduating Montclair State College with a major in trombone and a minor in piano, his band was booked as a Las Vegas lounge act in many of the major hotels. Russell even worked in the Atlantic City 500 Club where Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis first got together as a team. Encouraged by his best friend who recognized his talents, Russell journeyed to New York to study acting at HB Studios and eventually earned a coveted membership in the acclaimed Actors Studio. He appeared in four of the group's stage productions, and was also in the cast of "Lamppost Reunion" which won the best ensemble acting award at the Court Theater in Hollywood. Russell's other Theatrical appearances include, "A Streetcar Named Desire", "Guys & Dolls", "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" & "Two Gentelman of Verona". Russell also pursued stand-up comedy, and made appearances in many of the famed U.S. comedy clubs such as The Comedy Store, The Improv in Hollywood, The Ice House, and The Comedy Magic in Hermosa Beach. He also made comedic appearances on "The Merv Griffin Show", "The Dinah Shore Show", "Norm Crosby's Comedy Shop", "Madam's Place", "Make Me Laugh", and "The John Davidson Show" to name a few. He's opened for Las Vegas stars such as Frankie Avalon, Julie London, Roger Miller, Joe Williams, Tony Martins and Lou Rawls. Russell's film credits include "Bugsy" with Warren Beatty, "Casino" with Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci, "Ed Wood" with Johnny Depp and Martin Landau, "Out Of Justice" with Steven Segal, "Suddenly" with Kirstie Alley, "Living out Loud" with Holly Hunter and Danny De Vito, and "Winchell" with Stanley Tucci. On television, he was a recurring character on "The Fanelli Boys" and guest starred on "NYPD Blue", "Becker", "Home Improvement", "Mad About You", "Roseanne", "The George Carlin Show", "The Profiler", "Reba", "The John Larroquette Show", "Diagnosis Murder", "Silk Stalkings", "Night Court", "Sabrina, the Teenage Witch", "Family Law" and "Arliss." His father was a janitor and his mother worked in a warehouse as a forklift operator. Anthony has been involved in Theatre and filmmaking since high school. He enjoys knowing all the avenues and seeing how they work together and why sometimes they tend to work against each other. Anthony has trained and performed around LA County as well as in NYC. Had an absolute, physical ball being directed by Steven Berkoff in the 2016 Odyssey Theatre Ensemble production of Eugene O'Neills' The Hairy Ape. Anthony also loathes talking about himself in third person but he also understands life is full of hoops that we sometimes gotta jump through to get to the other side.
