What do attending the prestigious National Ballet School of Canada, studying towards a double major in Biology and Physics at Concordia University, and throwing it all away to pursue an unpredictable, yet highly fulfilling career in acting/filmmaking, have in common? Adam Bernett. Since his daring escape into a life of filmmaking in 2009, Adam has gotten himself hung by the neck on the SyFy show, 'Ascension', has deftly pick-pocketed some poor fool on the Crackle series, 'The Art of More', and has grown a damn fine beard for his recurring role in the Amazon TV series, 'Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan'. Over the years, Adam has studied at many acting schools around his hometown of Montreal, with his time at 'Straeon Acting Studios' (formerly Carter Thor Studios) being the most significant to his evolution. Though it was here that Adam first developed his instincts for story, it was through his extensive work on set, and by making his own work with Bright Young Things Productions, that he truly came into his own as a storyteller. While acting is his primary focus, Adam has also taught himself the crafts of writing, directing, and editing to better inform him as an actor. Oh, and somewhere in there he managed to squeeze in learning Parkour. So, there's that too... Yeah. Adam plans to build a body of work that he can be proud of, and doggedly pursue this crazy dream until his very last breath. Then, maybe, he'll take a break. Maybe...
