Connie Jackson is an American singer/actress, born and raised on the South Side of Chicago, IL. The youngest of four, Connie knew early on what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. In 1986, she packed up her car and moved cross-country to Los Angeles. Within months, she was hired by legendary choreographer, Michael Peters for the Tony-nominated Broadway revival of the Michael Bennett production of "Dreamgirls" at the Ambassador Theatre in 1987. Aside from her recurring role on "NCIS" as Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) favorite waitress, Elaine, you may also recognize Connie from countless television commercials. She is also the voice of Mariah Carey's Grandma Lucy in the animated movie All I Want for Christmas Is You (2017). A career highlight has been touring and recording with pop music icon, Phil Collins, as a backing vocalist on the Phil Collins: Finally... The First Farewell Tour (2004). In 2016, Connie co-produced the award-winning dramatic short film, My Name Is Lamar (2017). Connie Jenkins-Greig is a British actress born in 2003. She has TV credits in ITV's Mr Selfridge, BBC's New Blood and advertising, and has been in many short films and also feature films. In her first feature she played the lead's daughter in feature film 'The Take Down' directed by David Newton, which is a multi-award-winning action film officially supported by Raindance Raw Talent and which premiered in Leicester Square as part of the Raindance Festival. It was showcased at festivals around the world and at a US ComicCon. Connie's Raindance work led her to appearing in the 2019 Raindance trailer which was directed by Simon Hunter. Using her combat and wire skills, Connie worked on 20th Century Fox feature film 'The Kid Who Would Be King' directed by Joe Cornish which was released in cinemas in February 2019. She was subsequently described by Action Movie Star TV in an article as 'the next generation of action movie star'. After being spotted on stage, Connie's next feature was to play the role of Isabel in the exciting sci fi feature film called 'Solitary' directed by Luke Armstrong which was released in 2020 on major platforms and retailers and has rave critics reviews. Connie played the teen version of the lead in the beautiful and moving short film 'Persistence of the Past' released in 2021 dealing with the holocaust and antisemitism today featuring Ryan Wichert and Stella Stocker. She played Jane in comedy horror 'The Dead Collectors' which premiered in Leicester Square 2021 directed by Brendan Cleaves and also featuring her brother Hector, Ivan Kaye, Elliot James Langridge & Jennifer Martin. Connie also worked with Claudia Priddy in 'I am Your Sister' which also premiered in 2021 and is based on true events. These films have all had great festival success. Connie recently worked on short film 'Fat Girl' directed by Makez Rikweda both in front of and behind the camera. She also recently played a featured role in series 2 of an interactive crime drama (series 1 of which was BAFTA nominated 2020). Connie was selected to be part of London's Royal Court's 'The Seven Methods of Killing Kylie Jenner ReAct' performance-led workshop summer 2019 working with director Milli Bhatia and playwright Jasmine Lee Jones. When younger, Connie was part of the National Youth Music Theatre and British Youth Music Theatre UK companies. She has West End and tour experience and she trained each week with Michael Xavier. Connie performed with MX Masterclass in prestigious venues and events regularly and has been a soloist on BBC radio. She has also been trained in screen work by NYT, had 1:1 training with Ben Cogan and achieved her LAMDA Gold Medal - Acting. She trained in London with the prestigious ArtsEd on their Acting Pathway.
