Daniel Cody "Dan Cody" Hayes was born on October 30, 1984 in Georgetown, TX and raised in Stuttgart, Arkansas to Gigi Hayes and Daniel "Danny" Hayes. At Stuttgart High School, Dan was involved in sports, played trombone in the school's band, and was briefly involved in one drama class in which he played the role of Murray in the school's production of the Odd Couple. Dan joined the Air Force Reserves in 2007 and attended several colleges throughout his career earning a degree from the Community College of the Air Force in 2015. In 2018, he adopted his then stepdaughter Bella. In 2021, Dan and his family moved to Upstate New York where he began to audition for roles to "test the waters." Though Dan had not considered acting as a career before, he found it to be therapeutic and eventually decided to pursue it as a legitimate career. Dan's first paid role was his portrayal of Michael Barnett in the documentary the Curious Case of Natalia Grace (2023). He then auditioned several times before landing the role of Kenny in Love Dogs (2023).
