Dan Crane is a documentary writer, producer and director, and a journalist. His directorial debut, Let Me Be Me (Wavelength Productions) premiered in November 2021 at DOC NYC and is distributed by Greenwich Entertainment. Crane's documentary career began in 2004 working with Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom, Won't You Be My Neighbor). Since then, he's worked as a producer for Matt Tyrnauer (Studio 54, Valentino), a writer/director for Wavelength Productions, and as a writer on other forthcoming documentaries for the Spring Hill Company and One Planet One Future. Dan's fourth album, Chinese Affection, was originally recorded for Pandora after the leading internet radio provider chose Dan as their very first comic to spotlight due to his popularity on their stations. Dan has also honed his on-camera hosting skills on The Playboy Morning Show, interviewing everyone from Larry King to Michael Rooker on over 200 episodes of the Playboy network's most popular and longest running series.
