Emily Nelson is an American actress best known for her role in the feature film Made of Honor as Hilary, as well as other roles on television. Emily is a character actress, all her roles are unique and in a variety of genres. Emily began as a theatre actress in Oak Park, Illinois attending OPRF (Oak Park River Forest High School) which had a very robust theatre department. She then attended Carnegie Mellon University and graduated with a BFA in Acting from the School of Drama at CMU. Emily's first love was improvisation. As a high school student she would take the "L" to downtown Chicago to take classes at The Second City Chicago and performed as part of The Second City Kids Co. Later as young woman she returned to Chicago and made her way through the Training Center and went on to perform with many Improv companies all over the country, including Comedy Sportz LA. Most recently she was onstage for 2 Advanced Writing shows at the Groundlings. The characters Frank & Agnes were born there. Emily lives in Los Angeles and has two huskies.
