She dedicated herself to this craft full time through her high school years, which led her to a career dancing on the East Coast, first with the Richmond Ballet and then at First State Ballet Theatre in Delaware. While dancing, Emily also returned to school at University of Delaware and received a B.A. in Psychology. After a number of rewarding years, and dancing many of the greatest roles in classical ballet, Emily felt pulled to explore her call for story-telling in a different art-form.
