Since leaving drama school (East 15 Acting School), Frank has had a varied background in film and theatre. He has acted in productions ranging from pantomime to Shakespeare, and several seasons of rep.. His Theatre & Film appearances include such musicals as, 'Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat', 'Oliver', 'Side By Side', 'Into The Woods', His Shakespeare include 'A Midsummer Nights Dream', 'Macbeth', 'The Tempest'. He quickly built his reputation for strong leading and character roles in all styles of theatre proving himself to be a very capable and adept physical performer with equally proficient as both a comedy and serious actor. A wide variety of strong roles followed. His film appearances started as an extra in the 70s with 'The Star Wars Films', a small cameo role in 'Revenge of Billy the Kid', then, as with his Theatre career, roles rapidly increased to Supporting actor and leads in such films as 'Middleton's Changeling', a film adaptation of the play, as Don Pedro playing opposite Billy Connoly, Ian Dury and John Cooper-Clarke, and an American cult movie series 'Witchcraft X - Mistress of the Craft'. He has gained some unexpected celebrity in Belgium and the Netherlands when he performed a 'Full Monty', style striptease in a commercial for ADECCO. The advert was banned in Belgium and Frank rapidly became a hit with a majority of Belgians and the whole of the Netherlands to the point of endless newspaper interviews, television appearances and special guest appearances in Dutch shows such as The Ivo Nehgt Show, Tros TV, Wie Ben Ik, TV I, The TV Show, to name a few. Winner of an award at the CCB (National Belgian ad awards) for best performance in a commercial, his fame was been picked up by The Guardian which has led to a number of Radio & TV interviews such as a special guest on Radio 5 Live, South Eastern Radio, BBC News, and interest in guest appearances from The Big Breakfast and several late night shows. He hopes to develop his status and show he does more than drop his trousers. He will soon be seen in, a noir thriller called 'Room 36', in which he dies with the help of a champagne bottle, already screened at Cannes & Stuttgart film festivals. He has recently completed making a guest appearance in a new action series being filmed in Mauritius called 'Breakwater', an Anglo/Indian series for Mauritian Television Future plans are for major roles in two new feature films planned to shoot next year. Frank loves interesting and challenging roles and is always open to offers. Over the last three years he developed and formed Scantori Films, its aims are to make British Feature Films to match the American market. His first feature film project as a writer/director/producer was a Psychological Thriller entitled 'Red Herring Red Moon', a pilot version has created a lot of interest in America with distribution. This is now being developed as a feature for television. Next is a Martial Arts Action Movie, with a working title of 'Hellfighters', which has already created a bit of a buzz in the industry and is due to go into production as soon as he has the final bit finance in place, the main part of the budget already in place. During this time he has been Co-Producer in 'Witchcraft X', & 'Room 36'. Co-Producer of a short film called 'Cafe D' Paris' selected for screening at Cannes 2000. Three other scripts have since been finished, 'Love & Honour', a fantasy love story, a ghost story feature for TV called 'The Haunting', which he has also adapted for theatre and hopes to direct in 2005, subject to funding; a family feature for TV called, 'Billy's Challenge' - all of which are generating a lot of interest from major sources. Frank enjoys writing good strong parts for women and intends to do so to help re-adjust the balance. Other projects he is developing are 'Falstaff' a new adaptation for the stage, 'Aladdin' a fringe pantomime, and a new version of the opera 'Madam Butterfly'. Currently in post-production with a feature film called 'Warrior Sisters' a project which has a budget of £0 (zero pounds). The project already has interest from several local and international Distributors. All interested in the world rights. Heavily in Post-production, he is working on the Computer Generated effects and getting very close to completion. He has already started scripting 'Warrior Sisters II', promising that it will be a funded and more elaborate film with much more action and tension. As you can see he likes to keep busy, which is why he walks around with a back pack full of note pads and pens and his laptop. He can be spotted writing his latest ideas or script in a variety of cafe's near his flat or in his favourite patisserie in London's Soho.
