Gabriel Carrubba
Born and raised in the suburbs of Melbourne, Gabriel realised his passion for the arts from a young age when he took an interest in creative writing. Fast-forward to the tender age of 15, he knew that telling stories was going to be apart of his life after seeing the film Stand By Me in a year 9 English class. At the age of 17, Gabriel left school to pursue a career in acting at the Film & Television Studio International where he studied various acting techniques. After graduating from FTV, Gabriel landed his first guest role in the Sci-Fi, Netflix drama 'Glitch', playing the role of George. Two years later, Gabriel graduated from the arts school JMC Academy with a Bachelor in Film & Television Production. Since then, Gabriel has directed two short films and crewed on as well as starred in countless music videos, short films, feature films and TVC's. Today, he studies method acting at the Melbourne Actor's Lab, and has recently teamed up with Zane Borg at Pancake Originals where they aim to push untold Australian stories.

In the 90's with a VHS camcorder, a birthday gift of his mother , he made his first Horror movie, receiving good notices from friends and other movie-makers. In 2005 he made his first Indie Movie, "Red Mantis", a thriller inspired by the manga comics, which allows him to became nationally renewed. The year after, in 2006, he directs the Fantasy Movie "Destiny Angels", a dark love story that makes him to pursues his career as movie-maker. In 2007 he decided to move to Rome with his independent production Company, the "PYC Productions". He realizes several Music Videos, Short and Movies. Among the others one of the most popular is the fan-movie "Lupin III", which makes him well-known in Japan, and allows him to receives the congratulations by the Manga TV Series author. His latest Short Movie is "La Ragazza dagli occhi Verdi" He is actually developing the action thriller "BreakingTales" .
Gabriel Caste
Gabriel Caste is Cuban-American director, producer, editor, and VFX artist. Caste started his career producing non-fiction, working with Cameron Crowe on David Crosby: Remember My Name. He moved into an editing and VFX role, ultimately leading post-production for Davis Guggenheim's Concordia Studio. Caste's latest film, a psychological thriller entitled ARE YOU AWAKE?, stars Ellyn Jameson and Paul Archer, and is making it's rounds on the festival circuit. In the height of the pandemic, Caste directed Love In The Time of Quarantine which "captures the nuances of the isolation experience." (UK Film Review). The short film was an official selection of Film Shortage and featured in Vmag's article "9 Brilliant Shorts Created During 2020." Since turning to a complete focus in directing, Gabriel has collaborated with emerging musicians, and directed commercial campaigns for Bumble and Purple Mattress.

Gabriel Chavarria most recently shot the lead in the USA Network/Syfy series "The Purge". Based on the franchise (about one day each year when murder and mayhem is legalized), Gabriel played "Miguel", a US Marine with a hard edge and a noble mission, prepared to face the senseless violence in the streets alone in order to protect what he loves most - his family. Franchise creator James DeMonaco oversaw the series which is an entirely new chapter in America's 12 hours of annual lawlessness. Gabriel appeared as "Preacher" in "War For The Planet Of The Apes" with Andy Serkis, Woody Harrelson, Judy Greer and Steve Zahn, directed by Matt Reeves. Gabriel's previous lead in the Blumhouse/Imagine/Universal feature "Lowriders" garnered an Imagen Award nomination for Best Actor in a feature film, placing Gabriel opposite Academy Award nominee Demián Bichir, Eva Longoria, Melissa Benoist and Theo Rossi, directed by Ricardo de Montreuil. Gabriel starred as "Danny", a talented tagger/graffiti artist caught between his father (Bechir) and brother (Rossi) who are both competing in the ultimate lowrider supershow celebrating East L.A.'s car culture. The release of "Hunter Killer" is set for October 26th, with Gabriel opposite Gerard Butler and Gary Oldman. Shot in London,"Hunter Killer" tells the story of an untested American submarine captain teaming with U.S. Navy Seals to rescue the Russian president, who has been kidnapped by a rogue general. Gabriel also shot the lead role of "Ziggy Rodriguez" with Marg Helgenberger, Melia Kreiling and B.J. Britt in Fox's military thriller pilot "Behind Enemy Lines" (loosely based on the 2001 movie). Written by Nikki Toscano and directed by McG, the narrative closely follows "Ziggy" (Chavarria) as a Navy pilot trapped with this fellow soldiers in hostile foreign territory, while the officers and service men of a nearby aircraft carrier and intelligence officers in D.C. attempt to bring these heroes safely home from "Behind Enemy Lines". Gabriel's earlier work includes starring as "Jacob" in the Emmy nominated series "East Los High" for four seasons, along with films such as "Freedom Writers", "A Better Life" and various television shows such as "Prime Suspect" and "Major Crimes". Initially destined to be a professional soccer player, Gabriel was selected at the age of 13 for the Olympic Development Program and invited to play in tournaments across the U.S., Spain and England. But Gabriel's course would change at the age of 16 when he was discovered during the casting of "Freedom Writers" starring Academy Award winner Hilary Swank. Gabriel happened to be playing basketball at a local recreational park where the film was holding preliminary auditions.
