Ivor Roberts

Ivor Roberts (19 July 1925 - 5 September 1999) was an English actor and a television continuity announcer who often appeared in comedic roles. Born in Nottingham, he returned to acting following service in the Royal Navy during the Second World War. Roberts started his television career as a continuity announcer on regional television in Wales, working for TWW before that company lost its franchise in 1968. Among his better-known roles were the characters of Arnold Thomas in the 1995-97 television series Oh, Doctor Beeching! and Mr Barnes in the second, third and fourth series of You Rang, M'Lord?. He also made a guest appearance, as a police officer, in one episode of George and Mildred. Another notable appearance was as Mr. Chick in Dombey and Son. He also played a part in "Porridge". He died in Cardiff, Wales, in 1999 at the age of 74.

Ivory Broome focused most of his attention learning to be independent while he was growing up. Raised in New York to a family of entrepreneurs, his mom and dad both owned multiple businesses by the time he was 2 years old. Ivory started fashion modeling through Junior high and high school. After college Ivory enrolled in Lisa Maile School of Acting to pursue his first love "Acting". Not long after finishing acting school Ivory booked his first of many national commercials and begin working full time as a actor and model. After appearing in quite a few commercials and Industrial films he started booking movies and TV shows. Eventually landing a part in the movie Speed 2: Cruise Control which brought him to Los Angeles a few years later. While in Los Angeles, Ivory's entrepreneur bug started to bite and he started a couple of production companies. Broome Global Pictures & Media and Random Pictures to try his hand in film making. Ivory has grown his companies into successful businesses all while pursing his acting career.

Ivory Shields is an artist whose body of work includes acting, modeling, writing, producing, hosting, and casting. Her most recent role, on Queen Sugar's season 6, is Ivory's very first recurring role on a major network television show. Ivory has appeared in co-star roles on several network television shows including, but not limited to Genius Aretha Franklin, Ambitions, Star, Love Is, The Quad, and If Loving You is Wrong. She's landed lead roles in multiple short films, two of which she co-wrote and co-produced. Ms. Shields can be seen in national and global SAG commercials including Dominos Pizza, State Farm, Mercedes Benz, Floor & Decor, GoldBond, Rooms To Go, Worker's Credit Union, and countless more. Another recent milestone includes landing principal roles in feature films such as, Home Safe and The Wedding Date Mix Up. Her debut as a film producer and casting associate began in 2017 when she had the opportunity to work alongside Mr. Akil DuPont, to create a web series entitled Po Psi Broke, that premiered at The Plaza Theatre in Atlanta. This project recently won award for "Best Web series" at the Charlotte Black Film Festival. Ivory was an executive producer of Season 1 of Pretty For A Big Gurl where she collaborated alongside the writer and creator, Ms. Courtney Lockett, to create relevant and thought provoking content for this highly anticipated dramedy about an unapologetically confident plus size woman. Her image has appeared in multiple print ads and she's graced catwalks for many fashion shows. Ivory has studied with some of the most influential teachers in the industry, including improv class at the famous Groundlings Improv Theatre in Los Angeles. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech Communications from Georgia State University and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from The University of Alabama at Birmingham.
