Justin Schwan is an actor and director, known for The Wrong Fiancé (2021).
Justin was born March 2, 2000 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga. He has one older brother Jimmy, and a younger sister named Jayla. He enjoys role playing and singing. So for Christmas, when he was just four, he got a karaoke machine. He would spend much of his time belting out songs and pretending he had large audiences. He got started developing his acting career in the third grade, when he auditioned for the school play, Fiddler on the Roof. He was selected to play the role of a villager. He loved being a part of this theatrical event putting in long hours and dedicating himself to the role. Opening night at the Albany Municipal Auditorium he knew for sure he wanted to continue developing his skills as an actor. Year after year he continues to take part in the school plays including Hello Dolly and Thoroughly Modern Millie. One rainy day in February 2011 he had heard a talent scout was coming to the Deerfield Windsor School, where he has attended school since he started the first grade. His scheduled soccer game was canceled due to the rain. So he convinced his dad to take him by the school. He auditioned wearing his soccer uniform. There he met Marla Brettel and Blake Woodruff. He read a script and sang "Who's Crying Now" by Journey. After spending some time with Justin they asked him to go to Atlanta for a weekend workshop called "A Day in the Life". The weekend included getting instruction and experience working with different professionals in the industry. He had instructors helping him with improv, musical theatre, TV and film, dance, commercial, and runway. The weekend event concluded with a showcase which allowed for all the "selected talent" to perform before a live audience. Justin used this opportunity to do a singing improv with another talent, and to sing a solo of Nickelback's song "If Everyone Cared". Since Justin returned from the "A Day in the Life" workshop in Atlanta, he has performed in a music video "Let Love Win". This is a product of the Christian Music Artist, TJ Mauldin. He has started filming in a movie called Truth Seekers: The Music Of Souls, which is a SAG qualified film under the direction of Gaylord Parsons. He has also worked as a double for Devan Leos in Madea's Witness Protection and had a small part in the new production from Clint Eastwood, Trouble With The Curve. With the help of Marla Brettel, he has been led to being represented by Atlanta Models and Talent and Bohemia Group. He continues to work on becoming a performer, taking weekly acting classes, singing at camps and going to auditions. Justin always looks forward to his next performance and any upcoming opportunities.
