Kevin is a veteran of Television, Film, Stage, Commercials and Voiceover. He is perhaps best known for playing Councilman Bill Dexhart on NBC's hit comedy "Parks & Recreation" for four seasons and also played Norm Marcus on the Disney Channel series "Best Friends Whenever". Other television credits include series regular, recurring and guest starring roles on "This Is Us", "Henry Danger", "NCIS", "Transparent", "Castle", "Teen Wolf", "Mad Men", "Jessie", "The Bold and the Beautiful", "Wilfred", "Darcy's Wild Life", "Haunted Hathaways", "Weeds", "Desperate Housewives", "United States of Tara", "My Name is Earl" and numerous others. Film credits include "Vice" starring Christian Bale and Amy Adams, "Alvin and the Chipmunks", "Miss India America", "Echo Park Blues" and "Terminator II". He has appeared in over 200 commercials including campaigns for Chevrolet and Southwest Airlines. Kevin was born in the capital of Taipei, Taiwan. At the mere age of five, Kevin was cast as a child model for a bicycle commercial that aired on national television. His next gig was at the age of six, when he appeared on the popular Taiwanese game show "Happy Sunday". Kevin and his family immigrated to USA during the year of 1997. He said goodbye to his relatives and childhood friends, but never let go of his dream to become an actor. He started making moves toward his goal when he attended Howard Community College. He also began networking with local actors/actresses and others in the local industry in the Baltimore/Washington metro area. Kevin has appeared in many independent films, such as: "Bullet of Life", "Bloody Good Ratings", "The Last Cry", "Livelihood", and "The Projectionist" and the film, "The Projectionist" which was picked up by the Tribeca Film Festival. Quickly garnering millions of views in its first 24 hours, Warner Bros. decided to work with someone who could generate that much positive social media attention. Thus, Kevin was hired to direct, co-write and produce Mortal Kombat Legacy for Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. This groundbreaking web series is the most-viewed web series in the history of YouTube and set a new bar for digital programming. Kevin also directed and produced the sequel to the Mortal Kombat Legacy digital series that aired on Machinima. His feature directing credits include Glee : The 3D Concert Movie for Fox and Fame for MGM. He is currently directing multiple episodes of Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, 12 Monkeys, Prison Break (Event Series), Iron Fist, Star, Midnight Texas And Legends Of Tomorrow. Kevin Tanski
Kevin Tanski was born in Buffalo, NY to George and Beverly Tanski. The middle child, set between his older brother Brian and younger sister Jessica, Kevin attended Lancaster High School located just outside of Buffalo. After graduating, Kevin was recruited to the University At Buffalo to play football for the Buffalo Bulls. After playing for a short time, Kevin decided to focus on his studies graduating with a degree in Psychology. Kevin Tanski got his first taste of the entertainment industry in 2005 when he attended Buffalo Pro Wrestling Gym graduating from there as "Tank" Tanski. Tank Tanski was paired with his wrestling trainer Mark "Killer Kumpf" to form the "Buffalo Bad Boys" wrestling in independent promotions. Kevin left wrestling for other career pursuits. Kevin Tanski taking a shot once again in the entertainment industry, was fortunate enough to be cast, due to certain skill sets, as a background actor for the movie "Dark Knight Rises". Kevin was hired on as a Gotham City Police Officer. It was that experience that opened the door for Kevin in the film industry. Kevin auditioned and received his first lead role in the feature film titled "Call of Duty Undead" in spring of 2012 where he portrayed a Combat Specialist as part of an elite military strike team. Shortly after that, Kevin was cast in a supporting role as a mean Bounty Hunter in a Western feature film titled "Ride the wanted trail" that sent him out filming to Los Angeles as well as various other parts of California. Kevin began studying advanced acting techniques under Frank Rossi of Frank Rossi Studios in Buffalo, NY in 2012. Kevin has always expressed his love for being on set stating there is no other place he would rather be and enjoys traveling around the country to film.
