Karl Stegger
Karl Stegger was one of the greatest Danish actors. Karl Stegger was born: Carl Johan Stegger Sørensen. He later replaced the "c" in his first name with a "k" to further his acting-career. He was born in Aarhus on the January 11th 1911. Stegger was educated at Aarhus theatre, where he was hired as an actor for 5 years until 1951. After 1951 he worked at various theatres all around Denmark. But Karl Stegger was mostly famous for his various, and mostly, bi-roles in Danish films and TV. Karl Stegger had his film debut in 1950 with smaller role in [Smedestræde 4]. Stegger subsequently acted in well over 160 films (almost everyone Danish), where he mostly played down-to-earth and sly types. Stegger seldom had a lead part in any film. He became famous in Denmark when he got the part of the father in the Danish film-series: "Far til Fire" in 1955, after Ib Schønberg died (who originally had the part). Another famous part he had was as the scrap dealer in "Olsen-banden i Jylland" from 1971. In 1971 he got a Danish film-price, a "Bodil", for a role as a real-estate salesman in "Ballade på Christianshavn". In his later years, Stegger became even more famous for his role as the Swedish-consul in the Danish TV-epic "Matador". His last role was in 1980 in "Trællenes børn". Karl Stegger died on the 13th of April 1980, he is buried in Søndermark cemetery, Frederiksberg.

Karl Swenson
Of Swedish descent, burly, light-haired character actor Karl Swenson was born in Brooklyn and started his four-decade career on radio. Throughout the late 30s and 40s, his voice could be heard all over the airwaves, appearing in scores of daytime serials ("Lorenzo Jones") and mystery dramas ("Inner Sanctum Mysteries"). He gave visual life to one of his serial characters, Walter Manning, in "Portia Faces Life" when it went to TV in 1953. It was during his lengthy work in this medium that he met his wife, stage and radio actress Joan Tompkins. They appeared together throughout their careers on TV and in a few films. In the 1950s, he kept afloat on TV in rugged guest spots (Dr. Kildare (1961), Gunsmoke (1955), Maverick (1957), Mission: Impossible (1966) and Hawaii Five-O (1968)). He didn't appear in films until age 50+ with minor roles in Kings Go Forth (1958), North to Alaska (1960), The Birds (1963) and The Sons of Katie Elder (1965). His voice was also well utilized in such animated features as The Sword in the Stone (1963) as the voice of Merlin. Karl met actor Michael Landon on the set of Bonanza (1959), appearing in four separate episodes over time. Landon remembered him when he began to film Little House on the Prairie (1974). Cast in the recurring role of lumber mill owner Lars Hanson, he remained with the show until his death in 1978 of a heart attack. His character on the show also died.

Karl T. Wright was born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is the son of educators Theodore H. Wright (Chicago Bd. of Education) & Jacqueline B. Vaughn, former Chicago Teachers Union President from 1984-94. Karl started his career on Chicago Public Radio as a host and reporter on WBEZ while studying Improvisation at The Player's Workshop and Second City Training Center. He is known for his work on Atypical (2017), The Honor List (2018) and Teacher of the Year (2014). He has been married to Wendy Miller since September 20, 1997.

Born in Lowestoft, Suffolk, Karl Theobald was a stand-up comedian before graduating from the Drama Centre in 2000, and subsequently joining theatrical touring companies such as Complicite . In both 2000 and 20001 he appeared at the Edinburgh Festival, in 2001 as a member of the prestigious Comedy Zone. He has also travelled throughout Great Britain performing his one-man show entitled Mr. Tinnamen's Travelling Medicine Show. In addition to his appearances as a comic actor, notably on television's 'Green Wing', '2012' and as the grasping landlord in Roman set 'Plebs', he is also a writer and in 2002 he was part of the team who collected a British Academy award for Best Television Comedy Series for scripting 'The Sketch Show.'
