He has appeared in over a hundred productions across all mediums, including film and television roles in both South African and International productions. He has also produced his own feature length movie, A Bloody Stage, which featured almost 40 top South African actors, and was produced without a budget. As of April 2011, the movie is still in a prolonged post-production, though a first draft has been screened locally. The Book Club, short comedy produced by and starring Robert and Christine DiTillio, who also wrote the screenplay, is on the festival circuit. Robert's short horror script, Easy To Scare, was a 2019 winner of the We Make Movies Short Film Challenge. He also directed and produced the film along with Christine, who plays Janet. Easy To Scare is in post-production.
