Robert Gist
Robert Gist was a tough kid who grew up around the Chicago stockyards during the Depression. Reform school-bound after injuring another boy in a fistfight, Gist instead ended up in Chicago's Hull House, a settlement house where he first became interested in acting. Work in Chicago radio was followed by stage acting roles in Chicago and on Broadway (in the long-running "Harvey" with Josephine Hull). While acting in "Harvey", he made his film debut in New York-shot scenes for 20th Century-Fox's Christmas classic Miracle on 34th Street (1947). Gist was also seen on Broadway in director Charles Laughton's "The Caine Mutiny Court Martial" (1954) with Henry Fonda and John Hodiak. While shooting Operation Petticoat (1959) in Key West, Florida, Gist told director Blake Edwards that he was interested in directing; Edwards later hired him to helm episodes of the TV series Peter Gunn (1958). Gist has also directed for TV's Naked City (1958), The Twilight Zone (1959), Route 66 (1960) and many others.

Robert Glaudini
Italian-American New York City actor and playwright Robert Glaudini made his film debut in La mortadella (1971) (aka "La mortadella"). Glaudini starred in two offbeat experimental features for underground independent filmmaker Jon Jost: as the seedy private investigator "Frank Goya" in Angel City (1977) and the titular scuzzy drug dealer in Chameleon (1978). Glaudini gave a solid and engaging performance as edgy hero "Dr. Paul Dean" in the futuristic 3-D science fiction-horror flic Parasite (1982). He was effectively nasty as the evil magician "DelGatto" in The Alchemist (1983). Other memorable cinematic roles are scientist "Dr. Wolf" in the quirky science fiction sleeper Wavelength (1983), sleazy wrestling promoter "Dr. Tweed" in Grunt! The Wrestling Movie (1985), "FBI agent Nash" in the powerful Mississippi Burning (1988), and creepy high school janitor "Shultz" in the fun teen slasher romp Cutting Class (1989). Glaudini did guest spots on the TV shows Hunter (1984) and Crime Story (1986). Outside of his film and television work, he has had a long and distinguished stage career as both an actor and playwright. Glaudini has been a member of the New York stage ensemble "LAByrinth Theater Company" since 2004. He wrote the plays "The Poison Tree", "Dutch Heart of Man", and "Jack Goes Boating". He is the father of actress Lola Glaudini, and he portrayed her extremely dysfunctional father on three episodes of the TV series NYPD Blue (1993), including the one in which her character (Dolores Mayo)'s death occurs.

Robert Glenister (born 11 March 1960) is a popular British actor probably best known, among other roles, as con-man Ash "Three Socks" Morgan in the hit British TV series Hustle (2004) and his appearances in Spooks (2002). His impressive career has spanned nearly three decades, and he has starred in several hit British television shows and acted in films. He is the son of director John Glenister and the brother of actor Philip Glenister, who plays "DCI Gene Hunt" in Life on Mars (2006). His ex-wife is actress Amanda Redman, with whom he has a daughter, Emily Glenister, born in 1987. He and his current wife, Celia Glenister, have a son, Thomas Glenister, born in 1996. His sister-in-law is actress Beth Goddard. Glenister appeared regularly in the BBC sitcom Sink or Swim (1980) from 1980 until 1982. He has also appeared in shows such as Soldier Soldier (1991), Doctor Who (1963) (in the serial "The Caves of Androzani", opposite his Sink or Swim (1980) co-star Peter Davison), Only Fools and Horses.... (1981), A Touch of Frost (1992), as well as several films. He is probably best-known for his starring role in the BBC drama Hustle (2004), which has been exported to audiences across the globe. His character in the drama, "Ash Morgan", is a high-level con-man who has to convincingly play various roles or characters in order to pull off a con and lure a "mark". This perfectly showcases Glenister's versatile acting range and ability. He also had a regular starring role in the BBC drama Spooks (2002). His renowned on-screen presence and charismatic performances mean that Glenister continues to be a much sought-after actor on British television.
