Robert Rhine (writer/actor/producer) is the spawn of TV comedy writer Larry Rhine (All In The Family, Bob Hope, Red Skeleton) and comedic TV and film actress Hazel Shermet (A Star Is Born, Love At First Bite, New Zoo Review). A massive head injury and skull fracture 'clinically' killed Robert Rhine when he was ten years old but he was revived and survived to become a dark fiction writer fascinated with the subject of death. As an actor, Rhine has starred or co-starred in numerous films (and has been killed in 24 of them!). Rhine portrayed Rod Serling for The Twlight Tower of Terror Ride (directed by Joe Dante) for Disney Orlando Florida. Forty-three of the top horror artists in the world (such as William Stout, Tim Vigil, Hilary Barta and Alan M. Clark) contributed to the book, illustrating R.S. Rhine's twisted tales. Rhine also wrote the published book (illustrated by Brian Orlowski) titled: Last Laughs:Gallows Humor. Rhine worked for a decade as a Unit Publicist for Universal Studios, TriStar/Columbia, Dreamworks and Imagine Entertainment on such features as: The Craft, Hush, Tremors, Problem Child, Double-Team, Mousehunt and Toy Soldiers. He's worked as an entertainment publicist, book publicist, film advertising copywriter, segment producer for PM Magazine and also worked for CNN.
