Roel Dirven
Roel Dirven is an actor, known for Goede tijden, slechte tijden (1990) and Gooische Vrouwen II (2014). Roel is a Dutch actor, born in the South of the Netherlands, but currently living in Amsterdam. Roel had his television debut on the Nickelodeon TV series 'Het Huis Anubis' (The House of Anubis) where he played the role of Raphael Salomons from 2009 to 2012. He graduated with his BA at 'Fontys School of Arts' in 2011 with his self-written play 'Reiteration'. After graduating, Roel went on to play a variety of roles in TV and film, as well on stage. One to mention is the role of 'Anton Rover' in 'Soldaat van Oranje de Musical/ Soldier of Orange the Musical', directed by acclaimed director Theu Boermans. Most recently, Roel will have his international breakthrough being the lead on the international TNT Comedy/Warner Media TV-series 'The Mopes', where he plays the part of Mat Benvenuti, a depressed American singer-songwriter living in Berlin. He will star alongside renowned German actress Nora Tschirner. Besides being an actor in television, film, and theater, Roel is a trained dancer and singer. He has also been working as a voice actor for over 10 years now, lending his voice to numerous productions for Nickelodeon, Netflix, and Disney.

Roel Leijten is a Dutch filmmaker based in Breda, The Netherlands. During high school he borrowed the 8mm camera from his father to produce his very first short film and never stopped doing so. After his bachelor graduation in International Media Management, he started his professional career as a filmmaker. Combining his passion for traveling with his work, Leijten has traveled over more than 28 countries such as Japan, Colombia and Indonesia. The personal connection with a subject is vital in creating inspiring stories. In this way he is able to produce quality films that engages audiences. In 2018 Leijten wrote and directed the short film Never Mind in Los Angeles about the MeToo-era. This film was selected at several international festivals and premiered at the 32nd edition of the Braunschweig International Film Festival. At the age of 30, Roel is still developing his filmmaking skills that thrive him to push creative boundaries. When he isn't working on his commercial videos, Roel likes to read books, go to the cinema and work on long-term projects such as script writing and making feature films.

By 2017, he directed the pilot episodes of 'Marvel's Inhumans', for Marvel Studios and IMAX. This TV series pilot was globally released on IMAX screens and later broadcast on ABC and now on Disney+. In 2017, Roel Reiné also directed another Europan Feature Film named 'Redbad'. This movie has been theatrical released all over the world and has won many awards for best Director, best Cinematography and best Foreign Language Movie on several international film festivals. In 2018 and 2019, Reiné has been directing epic TV shows like 'Knighfall' with big battle sequences and 'Wu Assassins' for Netflix. Also, a TV movie for Shark Week and a highly acclaimed docudrama miniseries for History Channel about George Washington called 'Washington' that broke viewing records.
