Academy Award winner Roger Christian has had an extensive film career. He won an Academy Award for set decoration on director George Lucas's Star Wars (1977), which began a long collaboration between the filmmakers. Christian subsequently worked with Lucas on Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (1983) and was hand-picked by Lucas to direct the second unit on the recent Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). It was through Lucas that Christian got his first opportunity to direct a film, the short feature entitled Ángel negro (2000), which accompanied the UK release of The Empire Strikes Back (1980). The Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts is where he is based when in China. Recently, he was invited by Sangli TV Company to lecture and also the Taiwan Council of Cultural Affairs to guest lecture about his career in Film, Television and Theater. The conference was part of a year-long program sponsored by the Taiwan government to bring artists, who are prominent in their field, to share their real-world experience. Roger hopes to bring his vast experience in film and television to work with Chinese writers, directors, actors, producers and students and start to build a bridge between the two cultures and industries.

Recognized as one of Cleveland Ohio's premier independent film actors, Roger Conners has become a well-known name within the cult-horror scene after appearing in a wide array of widely publicized b-horror classics. Born in Westlake, Ohio, an upper-class suburb located less than twenty minutes outside of Cleveland, he grew up with an intense passion for acting and the arts. After expressing interest in working on camera, he was quickly cast in a leading role in 529 Films "Hellementary: An Education in Death".
