Rosemary Shrager is a talented television chef who has years of experience in restaurant kitchens and renowned cookery schools - a powerful combination! She has worked for Pierre Koffman at the famous Tante Claire restaurant in London and also for the brilliant chef Jean-Christophe Novelli. She is perhaps best-known for being a haute cuisine teacher on the reality television programme Ladette to Lady, and as a judge on Soapstar Superchef. She has also penned some excellent books, such as; 'Absolutely Foolproof', published by Octopus Publishing Group Ltd, on the 2nd May 2011. She is passionate about food and she teaches with an infectious enthusiasm. She was born 21 January 1952, in London, England and is of Jewish parentage. Along with her cheffing duties it was here where she ran her renowned cookery course for four years and published her first book, Rosemary - Castle Cook in 2001. In 2003 she moved her cookery school to Swinton Park. Rosemary's TV career began with the TV series Rosemary - Castle Cook, followed by Rosemary on the Road, both for Channel 5. She is now a familiar face on ITV, following up her Rosemary Shrager's School For Cooks series with regular appearances on The Alan Titchmarsh Show. She hosted the TV series Rosemary Shrager's School for Cooks, where ten contestants compete for the opportunity to work in a Michelin star restaurant. She played the part of a strict, no-nonsense headmistress on the MTV reality show, The Girls of Hedsor Hall. Then in 2011, she acted as a food historian along with the author Ivan Day who recreated dishes cooked for Queen Victoria on the 2011 BBC series Royal Upstairs Downstairs. "There is no role Rosemberg Salgado cannot do. He has the skills and depth that enable him to cross many genres. He pours his heart and soul into every role," explained his agent Sheilia Erickson. "He never stops trying to grow and improve, and he continues to pursue acting training. Directors not only love his great acting skills, they love his professionalism and dedication," she added. He says the greatest compliment he has received came from Michael Caine who told him, "Rosemberg, you are a very fine actor." He moved to Utah in 2000 because of the joy he feels by associating with fellow members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to acting, he loves bowling and has two children. "I give all the credit to God for all that I have achieved. I achieved my success in my acting career because of Him. Without God I would be nothing in this world. I am extremely grateful for everything my Heavenly Father does for me," said Rosemberg.
