Originally from Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Summer moved to Tampa Bay to be with Marissa Gialousis , whom she's been dating for four years. Since moving to Tampa, she's fallen in love with the city and its L.G.B.T.Q+ community. Summer is passionate, loyal, and can be described as strong-willed. Her Mom, Denise Morris, is an actor/author/producer and her Dad, Mark Morris, is a retired UPS Driver. They have been married for over 30 years. Summer's first live performance was when she was 7 years old. She became more serious about acting at the age of 11. She has performed in various theater groups and has been trained by well-known actors and film producers/directors. She enjoys being on set and learning challenging roles. Her favorite thing about set is meeting new people and interacting with them. She appears in The First Lady opposite Viola Davis (Showtime), as well as recent appearances on Dynasty (CW), The Resident (FOX), among others. She was a Performing Arts Scholarship recipient and Theatre major at Seattle Pacific University, with additional training at American Conservatory Theatre (San Francisco), comedy with Lesly Kahn and improv with Upright Citizen's Brigade (Los Angeles). She was a member of the iconic Met Theatre (Hollywood), where two of her original one act plays were produced, and she collaborated on the award winning short film "Now Or Never." She taught theatre at Le Lycee Francais de Los Angeles, as well as with L.A.U.SD.'s Arts Education Branch and Gifted And Talented Educaction Conservatory. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 2017, where she lives with her two boys and two cats.
