Tye Myers was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She began her career as a professional dancer touring the world with top artist such as Britney Spears, Alicia Keys, Backstreet boys, Mary J. Blige, Neyo, Ricky Martin and has appeared in Music videos as well as live television performances with Legendary artist including Prince, Beyonce, Diddy, Jay Z, Miley Cyrus, Chris Brown and the list goes on. She began her acting career in 2011 leading in several plays and showcases with her theatre company Atwater Playhouse. Tye had almost no acting experience when he was cast in a breakthrough role for Terrence Malick's movie The Tree of Life (2011) opposite Brad Pitt, Sean Penn and Jessica Chastain. The film won the 2011 Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and the 2011 Gotham Award for Best Picture, in addition to three Academy Award nominations. He was also featured in IndieWire's "Top 25 Filmmakers and Actors" of 2011.
