Wesley Cannon
Wesley Cannon is a business owner turned producer/actor and his business, Hollywood History, deals in movie and television assets. Throughout the years, his business has connected him with many well-known people in the film industry which paved his interests into producing and acting. While producing allows him to be a major contributor to the film, acting allows him to express himself and showcase his talent in multiple ways including doing his own stunts and creature acting. Wesley was born and raised in a small town in Eastern North Carolina by his mother Rose Cannon, a real estate business owner, and his father Allen Cannon, a small business owner and general contractor. He is the middle son of 3 boys. Wesley has always loved movies in general, but his passion for horror movies was formed as a child as his parents ran haunted houses professionally during Halloween when he was growing up. Halloween was always done big in his family and his love and appreciation for the art of special effect makeup and acting became more and more evident over the years. Like many, after 9/11, Wesley joined the military serving in the United States Army for 8 years and one of them being deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a combat military police soldier. After the conclusion of his deployment he then went back overseas for another 6 years as a civilian contractor while also working with the Special Forces for a year in Baghdad. It was while he was overseas that his interest delved deeper into movies, and what would soon become a thriving business. Watching movies was an escape from everything going on in the war zone, and helped to begin his passion of wanting to become part of the film industry. Wesley currently lives in the area he originally grew up in Eastern North Carolina with his wife, Jessica, their four dogs, and baby marmoset monkey named Jack. Not only does he own and operate his business but he is also dually sworn as a city police patrol Sargent and serves on the Sheriff's department's search and rescue dive team.

Wesley was born into a military family that moved around a lot until they eventually settled in Colorado Springs, CO when he was 5. Wesley has always had a fondness for movies but never thought much about getting into the industry until one day when he was asked to play an extra in an independent film. Getting this experience changed his life. Wesley began to study and learn about filmmaking. He relentlessly watched interviews with producers & directors, behind the scenes clips from films, watched documentaries and watched tutorials online. Wesley's passion drove him to begin practicing with no budget short films so that he could get some hands on experience. After working with a multitude of people in the industry and learning what he could, he finally decided it was time to try and pursue his dream of making. This pursuit led to the feature film "Sirona".
