William Yelton was born on August 6, 1993 in Wilmington, NC. Wilmington is a small southern coastal town which was once referred to as the "Hollywood" of the East. His parents are Sherri and Larry Yelton. William also has a younger sister, Lindsey Yelton. William graduated from John T. Hoggard High School in 2012. He went on to attend the University of Southern California where he received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Film and Television Production in 2016. William began his career as a teen actor in Wilmington, NC. He appeared in several locally produced TV shows and films. He also worked as an editor for many school video assignments, privately contracted productions, and personal on-line projects. During his years as a student at USC he worked in all areas of film production; specializing in Post Production and Editing. William secured his first professional position on the hit television series SURVIVOR in 2016 as a Post Production Video Logger. William is employed as Post Production Assistant for the series.
