Aravinnd Iyer
Aravinnd Iyer is an actor, blogger, and engineer known for his work in the Kannada film industry. He studied screen acting at City Academy, London, and honed his craft in theater at MISF!T in Bengaluru. He made his debut as a supporting actor in the state award-winning film Kahi and Kannada blockbuster Kirik Party. Aravinnd went on to play the title role in Bheemasena Nalamaharaja and Hate You Romeo. He also made a name for himself as a filmmaker, directing and producing the short sports documentary "175 grams," which won at the Sundance Film Festival in 2015.
His upcoming works include "Bhoogatha", A Kannada Action Drama which is set to release in July of 2023. Another Title "Tatsama Tadbhava" is in it's post production stages and nearing completion. He has also finished working on another title called "Bisi-Bisi Ice Cream" which is also in it's post production stages and nearing completion.
Prior to pursuing a career in acting, Aravinnd earned an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at MSRIT, Bengaluru, and an MSc in Automotive Engineering at the University of Bath in the UK. He worked in emissions research at Ford Motor Company and Jaguar LandRover in the UK and spent some time at Diesel Systems at Robert Bosch in Bengaluru.
