Faith Murphy
Curiously strong for her size, Faith Murphy's talent is no different. Faith Murphy is a powerhouse of emotional depth and range. She is first-generation American-descending from Irish Immigrants. She has an incredible work ethic, and gives herself over to every role that she plays. Faith married young and began a family early, focusing on raising her three boys, taking smaller roles while they were young. Now she is gaining accolades for her film work. She hopes to continue to help tell great stories for a long, long time.
If you ask her what she loves about the roles she's played recently, she would tell you that playing the antagonist or a character who is not who she seems, is both challenging and fun. She has portrayed a drug-addict, homeless, destitute, negligent, depressed, and even abused but silent women. She thoroughly enjoys bringing dramatic-even tragic-stories to life.
Faith grew up in Dallas, TX, where she attended Southern Methodist University (SMU-Meadows School of the Arts). She has worked all three sides of the camera-production (working as a Production Coordinator/Manager), marketing/advertising (for both client-side ad campaigns and film/media shoots) and on-camera talent. After studying under the great Jerry Houston (Dallas) for voice-over training, her first client was FORD Motor Company, and her second was McDonald's.
