Isis King
Isis King, an American actress, model and activist, is one of this generation's most influential transgender women. She rose to fame as the first woman of transgender experience to compete on both the 11th and 17th (All-Star) cycle of America's Next Top Model while living in New York in the Ali Forney Center for LGBTQ homeless youth.
As an actress, King has played pivotal roles in the Emmy award-winning Netflix series When They See Us and on hit shows such as L-Word: Generation Q, Equal, Good Trouble, The Bold and The Beautiful and Shameless. As a model, King has graced the covers of LGBTQ and mainstream magazines and has slayed the runway for many notable fashion designers, including Fenty by Rihanna, Gabrielle Union, Christian Cowan and Betsey Johnson.
King is an ambassador of the human spirit and believes in the importance of following your heart. She travels the country speaking to young adults at colleges and universities about self-love and living in the truth of your existence.
