Waymon Boone
Born the son of a disco singer, Waymon Boone is a award-winning Writer/Director. Born in New York City, Hollywood transplant. Graduating from John Abbott Academy where he studied film and theater.
He first came roaring onto the scene as the frontman for the alt/rock band Splender on Sony Records/J Records. Signed by the legendary Clive Davis. Releasing records and touring the globe with the likes of Third Eye Blind, Everclear and performing on The Tonight Show & The Late Show.
Later becoming a full time Director and Writer and selling his first feature The Devils in the Details as Cannes, starring Ray Liotta
He built and founded his own film studio in Los Angeles, Genetic Code Pictures.
Directing My Daddy's in Heaven starring Corbin Bernson and Jenn Gotzon and the acclaimed HereTv Television Network Tv Series Falling for Angels. Traveling the globe to film some of the most successful entrepreneurs in the business for The Abundance Factor and Age of the Entrepreneur.
Recently releasing the family drama Sunrise in Heaven - starring Corbin Bernson and Dee Wallace. 2020 will release the Kevin Pollak, Mena Suvari horror/thriller film Apparition.
2021 is seeing preproduction of an Action/Thriller titled "Knife" to be shot on location in Canada.
In 2022, Waymon is in preproduction for a four part limited television series that will network air in 2023.
