William Tilk

William Tilk was born in South Bend, Indiana before moving to Grand Haven, Michigan and later Edmond, Oklahoma. He is the son of Christina (Smith) Paul who was an elementary school teacher, and William Lee Tilk, an air traffic controller. Billy is of European decent with his ancestors dating back to the Mayflower and New Amsterdam. Throughout growing up, William was involved in music, theatre classes, and acting classes. He was cast in his first feature film when he was ten before getting highly involved in sports and martial arts. He pursued and received his bachelor degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) from the University of Central Oklahoma, 2004. William holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as well as a 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan Karate/Tae Kwon Do. He moved to Dallas, Texas to continue his pursuit of drama and acting by engaging in classes, workshops, film and TV. With his continual practice of acting and martial arts, he was led into stunt work and has been working in this area since early 2009. He now resides in Los Angeles, California.
