Aramis Merlin is a European born actor and voice over artist. He started his artistic career as an opera singer. Starting as a baritone he soon transitioned to the rare voice type called "Countertenor" and gave his debut with the Hamburg State Opera at 17 years old. His career continued with a 1st prize win at a national German singing competition his first lead role in "Der Räuber Hotzenplotz" at the Hamburg State Opera. Studying different martial arts from an early age, he has always had an interest in action films and stunts. Learning and loving both of these very different forms of art he had to decide which of them he wanted to continue and turn into a career. The common denominator of opera and stunts... was acting. He started studying acting at an acting school in Hamburg, Germany, but soon moved to Los Angeles to elevate his abilities as an actor and his career to another level. For 3 years, he studied at two renowned acting studios in Hollywood, the Art of Acting Studio (Stella Adler) and The Taylor Studio (Meisner). After graduating he started booking his first jobs in the entertainment industry. His credits now include a Co-Star role in "MacGyver" on CBS, a supporting role in the Netflix movie "Ava", starring alongside Hollywood names such as Jessica Chastain and John Malkovich, a national commercial for Volkswagen and lead voice over roles in the hit video games "Call of Duty" and "Battlefield". He has also dubbed a number of movies and 100s of episodes of TV into German. Aramis speaks multiple languages and has acquired a professional level in opera, musical theatre, piano, composing and martial arts.

He has been nominated for "Best Writer and Lead Actor" for his film "Deep Trouble" in 2015 at the North Carolina Film Awards. Most recently, Aramis was a Finalist in the 2020 Los Angeles International Film Awards and the 2021 ScreenCraft Action & Adventure Screenplay Competition for his feature film. He has a keen passion for community involvement and service which has led to his pursuit as a Firefighter.
